Confidence Rules

Confidence is the feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something, says Merriam-Webster.

From that feeling-state, each of us takes action. Confidence affects the scope, thoroughness, and persistence of that action toward achieving a desired goal. In other words, our level of confidence rules our effort, and therefore the results we produce.

In spite of stories of supportive teachers, sports coaches who value effort over winning, and managers who their team members a pat on the back, such behaviors are all too rare. It’s time to give voice to actual stories of what has mattered in your life. Yes, your stories.
